ICDS
ICDS Scheme is s community based Programme. The Scheme is targeted at Children upto the age of 6 Years of Age. It aims to improve the Health, Nutrition and Education of the target Community.
SOME OF THE SCHEMES UNDER ICDS ARE:
PRADHAN MANTRI MATRU VANDANA YOJANA(PMMVY):
It is a maternity benefit scheme for Pregnant women and Lactating mothers through the Direct Benefit Transfer(DBT).
SCHEME FOR ADOLESCENT GIRLS(SAG):
The Scheme provide Nutritional support, information on Health, Hygiene, Motivationg out of school girls to go back to formal schooling or skill training under its Non-Nutrition Component.
WHEAT BASED NUTRITION PROGRAMME(WBNP):
Under this scheme supplementary nutrition is provided to Children of Pre-School age, nursing and expectant mother.
ANGANWADI KARYAKARTRI BIMA YOJANA(AKBY):
An insuranc Scheme for Anganwadi worker and Helpers.
WEEKLY IRON FOLIC ACID SUPPLEMENTATION(WIFS):
A Programme to meet the Challenge of high prevalence and incidence of Anaemia among Adolescent girls and boys.
EARLY CHILDHOOD CARE AND EDUCATION:
It provides Early Childhood Care and Education for children of Pre-School age.
NATIONAL DEWORMING DAY PROGRAMME(NDD):
Under this Programme, It is implemented to improve the overall health for a better cognitive development of children between the ages of 1-19 years.
UJJAWALA:
A comprehensive Scheme for Prevention of trafficking and Rescue, Rehabilitation and Re-Integration of Victims of Trafficking and Commercila Sexual Exploitation.
SWADHAR SCHEME:
A Rehabilitation of women in difficult circumstances, it provides Shelter, Food, Clothing and Care to the marginalized women/Girls who are in need.
